This course derives directly from dignitary protection training. It provides the ability to engage a threat and protect a loved one in public. Two distinct drills are presented to cover a variety of situations. Maintaining control of a partner while shooting is taught. Post engagement movement is taught to get you and your loved one “off the X”. This course requires an extreme focus on safe pistol handling to maintain safety while in close proximity of associates. Exercises are divided into stages with each step rehearsed dry fire, then live before being combined into a complete, full speed operation. Student will alternate roles of shooter and protected.

  • 1 Speed Loader or Spare Magazines
  • Eye & Ear Protection
  • Strong Side Holster
    • [Rigid construction- must be capable to re-holster with one hand]
  • Outer garment for Draw from Concealment
  • Ammunition Count: 250 rds [minimum]
