Course Description

This course is targeted at range officers, tactical trainers and supervisors tasked with first lines repairs. Students learn to trouble shoot fix most common breakages, and discern what problems require a higher level of repair. Lead Instructor, Greg Neumann, retired from the Illinois State Police Academy Firearms Unit and formerly worked for Armalite. He is currently employed by Kiesler Defense.

March 24th, 2011 - Live Fire Rapid Deployment

Course Description

The final evolution is rapid deployment/ active shooter training. Students experience firing weapons in extreme close contact formations under expert supervision. Reactive targets teach students to control their shots and be aware or bystanders. Room clearing from a hallway completes the course. This course is a benchmark for realistic training.

Course Description

Designed for patrol officers, this course allows students to provide care for themselves or others until EMS arrive including use of the Israeli bandage & combat applied tourniquet. Drills are developed for working under hazardous conditions when an active threat is involved. Lessons from hurricane Katrina and tactical medicine helped develop this course. Small team rescue tactics are incorporated. Rural patrol officers and drug enforcement teams can also benefit from this course.

This seminar allows administrators, range officers, tactical supervisors, etc to hands-on test various patrol rifle optics systems. Several rifles in carry handle and flat top configurations with optics already mounted are provided. We will set up courses of fire at 7 and 50 yards to evaluate systems in a variety of applications.
