Our facility offers a wide variety of training options beyond the simple flat range training at some other facilities. Having a live-fire CQB shoot house on site allows students the ultimate in realistic room clearing training- whether it be with patrol or tactical oriented courses. Breaching facades allow officers to actually experience ramming a door. Student fire from a moving vehicle during officer rescue training. There are fence and obstacle to negotiate. The 33 wooded acres provide woodland operations scenarios with thick vegetation and water hazards. The Adamax facility is geared towards dynamic, realistic training conditions rather than flat, static range shooting drills.
Situated on 33 wooded acres, the Adamax range facility is only five minutes from Interstate 55, food, lodging and amenities. Its location in the center of Illinois provides good access to connecting interstate highways and population centers. The facility currently has a modular classroom, static range with covered firing points, breaching facades and a 3500 sq/ft CQB shoot house. The floor plan of the shoot house is engineered to provide multiple training options to include split stacks, dual entries and other high speed tactics. It has five rooms; three of which can be reconfigured to change the training mission. External and internal door breaching are other options. Many common room combat obstacles are incorporated into the design.
The adjacent acreage lends itself to rural operations training such as patrolling, search and rescue or land navigation. Realistic raid operations can be incorporated into shoot house training. Long range shooting practice [300m] is available during the Fall and Spring.

Low Light Warrant Tactics
This is a refresher and add-on course for persons who have attended either the Basic SWAT/ CQB, Warrant Service Tactics or similar course. Phase 1 is a review of room combat and team flow methods on the flat range and shoot house. Phase 2 is low light scenarios in the shoot house with an emphasis on warrant service & drug raids. Includes approaches and breaching tasks.
Low Light CQB/SWAT
A review and refresher course for graduates of the Basic CQB/SWAT or similar course with a focus on high risk warrants and hostage rescue missions. The tactics update is completed during day light hours and followed by low-light mission exercises. A full 4 phase scenario will complete the course to include breaching and locked doors.
